He has been selected as one of the National High-level Talent Programme, Scientific and Technological Innovation Leading Talent of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Leading Talents in Shanghai, Shanghai Academic Research Leader, Young Scientist of Chinese Association of Automation, Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher, China's Highly Cited Scholars, World top 2% Scientists, Shanghai Shuguang Talent Program, Shanghai Pujiang Programme, etc. Mr. Yan is a professor and PhD supervisor, He received his B.S. degree in Automatic Control from Wuhan University of Technology in 2001, and his Ph.D. degree in Control Theory and Control Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2007, and was a postdoctoral researcher at the Chinese University of Hong Kong from 2007 to 2009. He has been invited to conduct collaborative visiting research in Hong Kong and Australia for several times. He is mainly engaged in the research and application of UAV, robotics, artificial intelligence, networked control, multi-intelligent body system, big data analysis, and medical-industrial crossover. He has presided over more than 60 national and provincial projects, such as the key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the national key research and development programme projects, the Central Military Commission's fund for the installation and development of common technologies and areas, and other national and provincial ministries and departments. He has written/participated in the editing of 6 Chinese and English monographs, published more than 400 SCI papers, including more than 300 papers in Automatica and IEEE journals, more than 17,000 Google citations, and 70 h-indexes. 2 papers have been selected as ‘China's 100 Most Influential International Academic Papers’, and more than 40 papers have been selected as ‘ESI Highly Cited Papers’, and more than 20 papers have been selected as ‘ESI Highly Cited Papers’. More than 40 papers were selected as ESI highly cited papers, and more than 20 papers were selected as ESI hotspots. He has received more than 10 best paper awards in domestic and international academic conferences. He has authorised and applied for more than 80 national invention patents.
