Resume

Andrew I. Cooper, a Fellow of the Royal Society of the United Kingdom, the European Academy of Sciences, and a foreign academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, is a professor at the University of Liverpool and a visiting professor at East China University of Science and Technology. He is also the director and chief scientist of the Materials Innovation Factory and the Leverhulme Functional Materials Design and Research Center. He has long been engaged in the research of advanced organic functional materials and their research methodologies, pioneering the fields of conjugated microporous polymers, porous organic cages, and porous liquids, and first reporting the self-propelled robotic chemist. He has published nearly 300 SCI papers in journals such as Nature, Science, Nature Materials, Nature Chemistry, JACS, Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., and Advanced Materials, with over 52,000 citations and an H-index of 117. He has been shortlisted for high citations and the most influential scholars (Thompson Reuter/Clarivate) for many consecutive years. He has been honored as a Royal Professor of the University of Liverpool and the highest award of the World Artificial Intelligence Conference, the Outstanding Leader in Artificial Intelligence. He serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the flagship journal of the Royal Society of Chemistry, Chemical Science. He has trained 47 Chinese postdoctoral fellows and doctoral students and has in-depth cooperation with many universities in China.
